Script
Ḥijāzī. The inscription shows a dot below ب in the last line.
Contents
The translation of the inscription is:
- O Allah
- grant pardon to ʿAbda[l]lah bin Dayram
- written when four nights had passed of [the month of]
- Muharram of the year forty-
- six.
Comments
This graffito was found in Wādī Sabil during the Philby-Ryckmans-Lippens expedition. The copy was made by Ryckmans, but no photograph was taken.
