Arab-Sassanian coin issued by Mu‘āwiya ibn Abī Sufyān, frozen in 43 AH.

43 AH / 663-664 CE.
Contents
Obverse field: Typical late Arab-Sassanian bust and written in the Middle Persian Maawia amir i-wruishnikan ("Muʿāwiya, commander of the faithful"). Obverse margin: bism Allāh ("In the name of God").
Reverse field: Typical Arab-Sassanian fire-altar with attendants with mint (Darabgird).

Weight = 4.00 gms.
Coins bearing the legends Maawia amir i-wruishnikan and bism Allāh originate from 41 AH / 661-662 CE.
Location
Not known. Images of the coin are from the Arab-Sasanian (Or Early Muslim) Coinage. Similar coins are also found in the British Museum, London.
