Before we deal with the so-called contradictions in the Qur'ân, especially the internal contradictions, it is important to determine the correct methodology for the understanding of the Qur'ân. The below article deals with the methodology which is based on the dictum that the best exegesis of the Qur'ân is Qur'ân itself. This involves context and internal relationships.
