Assalamu ʿalaykum wa rahamatullahi wa barakatuhu:



1st century hijra / Second half of 7th century CE.


Approximately 35.5 cm x 27.5 cm.

Script & Ornamentation

It is written in the ḥijāzī script in brown ink on vellum. There are 23 lines on recto and 21 lines on verso. No vocalization, verses indicated occasionally by four dots, a few dots and angled dashes indicating diacritical marks and consonants.


Sūrah Ibrahīm, verses 19-44.
